Hai-Anh H. Dang is a Senior Economist in the Data Production and Methods Unit, Development Data Group, World Bank. His main research is on international development, poverty, inequality, and methodology to construct synthetic (pseudo) panel data from cross sections. He has published in various leading development journals, including Journal of Development Economics and Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. He also serves as a co-editor of Review of Development Economics.
Mrinalini Jha | PresenterWho was impacted and how? Poverty and inequality during the pandemic in India
Mrinalini is assistant professor at O.P. Jindal Global University. She got her PhD in Economics from Delhi School of Economics. Her research focuses on the economics of discrimination and unequal opportunities in economic well-being, and their impact on growth. Her current research interests include the evolution of wage polarization over the skill spectrum of workers, along with its intersection with other social identities. She has also been working closely on the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Giulia Lotti | PresenterHigher inequality in Latin America: A collateral effect of the pandemic
Giulia Lotti is Senior Economist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Research Associate at CAGE Warwick. She currently works in the Strategy Department of the IDB, where her research focuses on finance and development. Previously, she worked for the Department of Andean Countries for the IDB and as a consultant for the World Bank. Giulia holds a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science in Economics from University College London (UCL).

Nada Rostom is a Senior Research Associate at JPAL MENA. Nada is currently managing a project addressing the root causes of irregular migration at JPAL. She received her Msc. degree in Development Economics from Goettingen University in Germany. Nada s research interests are related to migration, women empowerment, social safety nets and food secruity.
