UNU-WIDER hosts special session at the AERC biannual research workshop on ‘The job ladder’


As part of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) biannual research workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, UNU-WIDER coordinates a special session on the forthcoming book The job ladder: Transforming informal work and livelihoods in developing countries, due for release February 2023. 

The session includes a presentation by book co-editor and UNU-WIDER Research Fellow Michael Danquah, with discussants Maureen Were, researcher in the Central Bank of Kenya, and Anthony Wambugu, professor at University of Nairobi. The event is chaired by Professor Thѐophile Azomahou, Ag. Executive Director, AERC.
