Stata intermediate course for revenue authorities

An online intermediate Stata course is provided to 21 participants, representing researchers and tax experts at the revenue authorities in Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia, on 5-7 April 2022.

Stata is a software for statistics and data science. The aim of the online course is provide training on using intermediate methods in Stata, including dealing with some basic loop and macro structures as well as regressions, including with fixed effects. This tailor-made intermediate course follows the basic course provided to the participants.

The online training is part of UNU-WIDER's Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data project. The project is part of UNU-WIDER's programme on Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM). The DRM programme is financed by the Norwegian development co-operation agency Norad.
