Miguel Niño-Zarazúa, Non-Resident Senior Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER, and Rachel M. Gisselquist, Senior Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER will be presenting and discussing the findings of the report Effects of Swedish and international democracy aid at an event hosted by the OECD DAC Network on Governance (GovNet) on Thursday, 15 April 2021 at 14.30 GMT+1.

The DAC Network on Governance (GovNet) brings together governance practitioners and experts to explore and promote more effective governance in developing countries. GovNet is a subsidiary body of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC).

Effects of Swedish and international democracy aid was published in December 2020 by the Expert Group for Aid Studies (EBA). The research behind the report was carried out by researchers from the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER)
