Maria Jouste, UNU-WIDER Research Associate, will give a presentation at the Tax for Development webinar series on 17 November 2020 (CET). The webinar series is hosted by Chr. Michelsen Institute.

The topic of Jouste's presentation will be 'Do tax administrative interventions targeted to small businesses improve tax compliance and revenue collection? Evidence from Ugandan tax administrative data'.

The webinar series features ongoing research and initiatives which aim to strengthen domestic revenue mobilization in developing countries, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa.The main target audience for the webinar series are tax researchers around the world, but the topics can be of interest to policy makers and other experts as well.

The presentation is part of UNU-WIDER's Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data project.
